Middlesbrough-born comedian, actor and writer Bob Mortimer is best known for his comedy partnership with Vic Reeves, established during the 1980s and achieving cult-stardom on television and in live comedy clubs throughout the 1990s. His comedy is typified by off-the-wall surrealism.
