  • The shortlists for the Comedy.co.uk Awards 2019 have been revealed
  • Vote now to help name the best TV and radio shows

The programmes shortlisted for the Comedy.co.uk Awards 2019 have been revealed.

Sixty programmes across ten categories are now in the running for the Comedy Of The Year title.

The shortlists were compiled from a public vote involving every new British comedy TV and radio programme broadcast last year. Running over the past fortnight, tens of thousands of votes were cast to whittle down all 430 nominees to just six in each category.

The final round of voting is now open, and will run until the end of Sunday 26th January. The winners, determined entirely by the public vote (no jury, weighting, or other interference), will be announced on Monday 27th January.

Nominees can be seen listed below, or viewed by taking part in the vote.

This is the 14th year British Comedy Guide has run its annual awards. Television event The British Comedy Awards have not taken place since 2014, making the Comedy.co.uk Awards now one of the only chances for British comedy programmes and those who create and star in them to be celebrated; and the only TV and radio comedy awards in which the results are decided by the public alone.
