Comedies shortlisted for the Comedy.co.uk Awards 2017 have been announced.
Sixty programmes across ten categories are now in the running for the Comedy Of The Year title.
The shortlists were compiled from a public vote of every new British comedy TV and radio programme broadcast last year. Running over the past fortnight, tens of thousands of comedy fans took part in the poll to help whittle down all 387 nominated shows to just six in each category.
The final round of voting will now run until midnight on Saturday 27th January, with the public asked to select which of the six shortlisted comedies in each category should win. Winners - determined entirely by the public vote with no jury, weighting, or other interference - will be announced on Monday 29th January.
This is the 12th year British Comedy Guide has run its annual awards. Television event The British Comedy Awards have not taken place since 2014 , making the Comedy.co.uk Awards one of the only chances for British comedy programmes and those who create and star in them to be celebrated, and the only TV and radio comedy awards in which the results are decided by the audience alone.
The nominees list can be seen in full below, or viewed by taking part in the vote.
