John Cleese

John Cleese is an English writer and comic actor, who rose to prominence during the sketch and satire boom of the 1960s, and stardom as part of comedy group Monty Python. During the 1970s he wrote and starred with then-wife Connie Booth in celebrated sitcom Fawlty Towers. His other work includes Oscar-winning film farce A Fish Called Wanda.
