Top ten British sitcom (according to this forum):

1 Only Fools And Horses

4 The Office
5 I'm Alan Partridge
6 Fawlty Towers
7 Father Ted
8 Dad's Army
9 Steptoe And Son
10 Peep Show

For making part of a top in my best U.K. comedy panel, a sitcom must be able to make me liking it until I fall asleep. To be able to watch it until I wake up and not stopping it because I know the plot. But I enjoy falling back to dreams surrounded by the sound of its story. That's why I can not make a 1 to 10 top. A sleep is a sleep. But anyway... My list:

Father Ted
The Smoking Room
The League of Gentlemen
15 Storeys High
The Mighty Boosh
Little Britain
The IT Crowd
Black Books
Green Wing

and... why not:

Creature Comforts

1. Fawlty Towers
2. Father Ted
3. Blackadder
4. The Office
5. Gavin & Stacey
6. The IT Crowd
7. The Young Ones
8. Red Dwarf
9. The Inbetweeners
10. Extras

Have to go with (and these aren't really in order, that's far too difficult!)

1. Blackadder
2. The Office
3. I'm Alan Partridge
4. The Thick of It
5. Peep Show
6. Keeping Up Appearances
7. Father Ted
8. Nighty Night
9. Gavin & Stacey
10. The Inbetweeners

Mine are (not necessarily in order):

1. Nighty Night
2. I'm Alan Partridge
3. Psychoville
4. Steptoe and Son
5. Keeping Up Appearances
6. The Trip
7. Gimme Gimme Gimme
8. Father Ted
9. Absolutely Fabulous
10. The Brittas Empire

I would have included The League of Gentlemen, but I think it falls under sketch show rather than sitcom - Psychoville is a happy medium.

3.Only Fools and Horses
4.Dinnerladies
5.One Foot in the Grave
6.2 Point 4 Children

You can't just put Ronnie Barker sitcom's at number 5, which Ronnie Barker sitcom? and how do you end up with Royle family at 4 and 9? where does it place 4 or 9?

You haven't thought this through.

While I'm at it, don't forget guys, we need capital letters! Board rules:
