1 'Allo 'Allo!

Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry

Laughing out loud

It is a truly superb programme, Jack!

On the 'Allo 'Allo theme, I was just pissing and I thought I'd add my top ten:

Porridge
Steptoe and Son
Red Dwarf (Series 1-6)
The League of Gentlemen (some debate whether it is a sitcom)
Larry Sanders
One Foot in the Grave
Open All Hours
What Ever Happened to the Likely Lads?
Dad's Army
Father Ted

Subs bench:
H-H-H-H-H-Hancock, Yes Minister, Last of the Summer Wine (til '85), Phoenix Nights, Fall and Rise of Reggie Perrin

Not strictly on topic but close . . .

I've just watched what is possibly my favourite sit-com episode, and now I've wiped the tears of laughter away . . .

My copy of In Sickness and in Heath Series Three arrived today and I went straight to episode 4, the one about the seance.

What a tour de force performance from all concerned. Warren Mitchell, Carmel Mc Sharry, Arthur English, Eamonn Walker but, most of all, Irene Handl and Patricia Hayes.

If that's not as good as comedy ever gets, I don't know what is !

:D :D :D :P :P :P

For what it's worth here is my favourite ten sitcoms:-

1. On The Buses
2. Porridge
3. Only Fools And Horses
4. Steptoe And Son
5. Man About The House
6. Fawlty Towers

As much as I love it and it is in my top ten, Father Ted is not British but Irish, so should not be included in the British top 10 sitcoms ever IMO?
