The title of this show, Here Comes Trouble, could not have been better chosen. Peacock is the adult version of that naughty schoolboy who just can't help playing pranks on his peers no matter what the consequences he may suffer as a result.

Review: All Stars of Comedy, Glee Club

The entire show was compiled of race-based comedy, which made the audience crease regardless of colour. It is a nice feeling to be in a room and feel completely shameless, embracing an atmosphere that saw at least a hundred people leave all prejudices behind to enjoy the feeling of laughing together. The evening was filled with down-to-earth comedy of a kind that almost made you feel bad to laugh, but you couldn't help yourself. It was full to the brim with raucous and cheeky performances that will stay with the audience for days.

Book review: More Fool Me by Stephen Fry

This is, of course, a well-written book. But it is also a very big book, which it didn't need to be. The opening eighty pages or so are a recap of his life so far, while a hefty chunk at the end is Palin-style diary entries with intermittent added footnotes. But the thing about Fry is that he is a larger-than-life figure, making huge sums of money, dining with the Great and the Good, hoovering up marathon lines of marching powder back in the day. He could hardly deliver a piddly paperback could he?

Bridget Christie - The Lowry, Salford

The rant as a comic device has been around for some years. Lenny Bruce, in his decline, rambled on about legal procedures and censorship. Ben Elton rabbitted on about a little bit of politics and Stewart Lee has pushed the technique towards the surreal by banging on about topics too trivial to even mention. Now Bridget Christie is ranting on the subject of feminism.
