Speaker biographies

Anna Morris (host)

Anna is an award-winning character comedian, actor and writer. She's starred in Lee And Dean, Tell Me Everything, Bad Bridesmaid, Outnumbered, Count Arthur Strong and The First Team. She's written and performed five one-woman comedy shows and created many viral comedy sketches on social media. Just after the conference she went on to play Sophie Wessex in The Windsors: Coronation Special.

Michelle Farr-Scott

Michelle is a scripted producer. Working in British TV comedy for 20 years, she has produced hit shows including Peter Pan Goes Wrong, Bluestone 42 and Whites. She is Head of Scripted for Ranga Bee Productions, where she has been executive producer on a number of shows including BBC One's Avoidance and Sky's Romantic Getaway.

Claire Jones

Claire is an award-winning radio comedy producer whose most recent production is the BBC Radio 4 series Conversations From A Long Marriage, written by Jan Etherington and starring Joanna Lumley and Roger Allam. Previous radio credits include Incredible Women by Rebecca and Jeremy Front, Borderline by Patrick Kielty, Madam Mayor by Brenda Gilhooly, Andy Hamilton Sort Of Remembers, Start/Stop by Jack Docherty, Simon Evans Goes To Market, Hannah Gadsby: Arts Clown, The Lee Mack Show and Just A Minute. Claire also produces Sophie Ellis Bextor's podcast, Spinning Plates.

Clelia Mountford

Having co-founded Merman with Sharon Horgan in 2014, multi award-winning Clelia develops and produces a multitude of projects with a host of international talent. Recent credits include the highly acclaimed dark comedy Bad Sisters (Apple TV), BAFTA-winning Motherland (BBC Two), There She Goes (BBC Two) and Frayed (Sky). Clelia has most recently executive produced Sky's 2023 comedy drama Dreamland, starring Lily Allen and Freema Agyeman.
