Further details

Cameron Diaz, talking about her new movie Gambit, and working with its stellar British cast, says, "I was terrified, absolutely, because they all do theatre and they have a grasp of the English language and use it in so many ways. I, on the other hand, have a lazy tongue because I am from Long Beach California and am linguistically challenged!"

Talking about her co-star Tom Courteney, she says, "I am totally in love with him, he is the most charming, most hilarious man."

Reminded of flirting with another older man on a previous episode of Graham's show, she says, "Apparently I have an issue. I was shameless with Sir David Attenborough. I love him."

Asked about the press rumours that she is dating Tom Cruise, Cameron says, "I happened to bump into Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem, Tom and his son in a hotel and joined them for dinner. At midnight I said, 'I'm 40' so we took pictures and then said 'goodnight, see you later, blah, blah, blah' and I haven't seen him since but the next thing I know, apparently I am dating him and it's full on and he is coming after me."

Rod Stewart, talking about crying at a recent football match, says, "Barcelona is supposed to be the best team in the world and they are brilliant. If you like football they are the best team to watch and they have such a huge bank account they can buy any player they want. Celtic, on the other hand, have a minimal bank account. So, to take them on and actually beat them is just wonderful." Shown a clip of him crying, Rod adds, "Silly old sod."

Talking about his new autobiography, he says, "It's a sunny book. I did drugs but I was never really mad on them and they didn't upset my life, I never went to rehab, it didn't interfere with my marriages, my children or my life." Asked if he feels lucky, he says, "Yes, it came out really well."

Asked if his wife knew all the stories in it before it was published, he says, "Penny knows everything," and addressing his wife, who is in the audience, says, "There was nothing in there that shocked you was there?" Penny responds, "I knew I wasn't marrying a saint!"

Talking about his trademark locks and asked whether he would every change them, he says, "I won't because it will never sit down. Before I owned a hairdryer and there was hair lacquer, I used to make it stand up with warm water and sugar and wait for it to dry."

Revealing her love of Rod's hair, Cameron says, "The first ever hair cut I had that I paid for myself and that wasn't cut by mother in the kitchen, was a Rod Stewart cut. It was super short on top and long at the back."

Sarah Millican, asked about the success of her TV show, DVD and tour and if she has now gone all rock and roll, says, "To celebrate the end of the tour I caught up on the last episode of Downton Abbey and ate a ham sandwich. It was all a bit crazy!"

Rod performs Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas live in the studio.
