Further details
Gary is chosen to represent the army in a debate against students - organised by the Captain's brother, Rupert. In true army style, Gary is given a full list of exactly what he should say, as well as assistance in the shape of Jacko.
Before heading off to St Andrews, Gary practises the debate with Julie and his Dad, boosting his confidence with an easy win. The problems start soon after they arrive, as Rupert doesn't make the best impression on Jacko, and seems to have wildly underestimated Gary's opponent, Millie. When Gary takes to the stage he gets a nasty surprise, making a difficult task seem like Mission: Impossible.
