Clive Dunn OBE was a Brixton-born actor, singer and comic best known for playing a range of doddering, elderly male characters. He began his career in the 1930s whilst still at school, enjoying film roles alongside star Will Hay, and later enjoyed many guest roles on film and in TV sitcoms. He is best known for playing Jack Jones in Dad's Army.
