Meet The Richardsons is up for the Gamechanger Programme of the Year title in the Broadcast Digital Awards, the trade magazine's awards for non-terrestrial programming.

The Dave comedy is up against Annika Black, Expedition With Steve Backshall, Royal Bastards: Rise Of The Tudors, Sky News format The Daily Climate Show and cricket broadcast The Hundred in the category.

The sitcom is also in the running in the main comedy category:

Elsewhere in the awards, CBB format Dodger is up for Best Drama Programme and Best Digital Children's Content. The kids category also features animated comedy Dodo, whilst Landscapers is amongst the other Drama nominees.

Never Mind The Buzzcocks and Munya Chawawa's Race Around Britain are in the Best Entertainment Programme category alongside Eating With My Ex, Life & Rhymes, RuPaul's Drag Race UK and The Culture Capsule.

Big Zuu's Big Eats has been nominated for Best Popular Factual Programme and Drunk History: Black Stories is in the Best Short-Form Format shortlist.

The Best Short Form Scripted category features three comedies. Comedy Central sketch show East Mode With Nigel Ng, Lucy Pearman's sitcom pilot Please Help and BBC Three series Zen Motoring.
