When the Dwarfers discover the crashed Simulant ship that they destroyed, they decide to go on board and recover some of their food supplies.

Unfortunately, when they get there, a dying female simulant jumps out on them with a bazookoid gun. Rimmer has the chance to save the crew, but instead chooses to save his own life and takes the escape pod. He ends up stranded on a planet for 600 years and in that time recreates a whole population of Rimmers!
