1. Backwards

First broadcast: Tuesday 14th November 1989

Rimmer and Kryten crash-land on a planet and are shocked to find it is Earth - but an Earth where time is running in reverse.

2. Marooned

First broadcast: Tuesday 21st November 1989

A flaming meteorite hit causes Starbug 1, with only Lister and Rimmer aboard, to career wildly into an arctic wilderness planet. The duo are alone, marooned in the stricken vessel, and with limited fuel and food supplies they face certain death if not discovered.

3. Polymorph

First broadcast: Tuesday 28th November 1989

A chameleonic shape-changing mutant known as a Polymorph is roaming around Red Dwarf, disguising itself in order to manipulate and feed on the crew's emotions.

4. Bodyswap

First broadcast: Tuesday 5th December 1989

A bodyswap deal between Lister and Rimmer doesn't quite go to plan when Rimmer gets a bit carried away with himself.

5. Timeslides

First broadcast: Tuesday 12th December 1989

After discovering that they're able to literally step into the past through photographs, Lister resolves to change his past, become a multi-millionaire and never board Red Dwarf. Rimmer however, is less satisfied with this new reality.

6. The Last Day

First broadcast: Tuesday 19th December 1989

The ship receives a message informing them that Kryten's expiry date has come, and he will shortly shut down and be replaced. Lister decides to hold a party in his honour, but things don't quite go as expected.
