Edinburgh's one-person show warning over Fringe costs crisis
The Edinburgh Festival Fringe is at risk of being dominated by one-person shows due to the crippling costs of taking a show to the event, according to one of its biggest venue operators. Anthony Alderson, who has led the Pleasance for the last 20 years, said there was a growing trend for shows with "shorter runs, smaller casts and less technical ambition".
