Mrs Tishell fears removing the collar will just cause her more pain, and toys with the idea of helping herself to painkillers from the pharmacy. She does take the collar off, but it ends up with Doc Martin and Louisa calling an ambulance for her.

After the ambulance has left Louisa tells Martin that she has split up with Danny. She invites him to join her for a glass of wine. Louisa is hoping the wine will make him more mellow.
