To what are you implying??

David has left the site so won't be replying, but I think he was hinting that the show will have broad appeal and find fans not just in Britain, but across the Anglosphere.

In which case, I suspect he may be right.

Absolutely do not miss this. Starts tomorrow night.

Have you seen it?

For an awful moment I thought you were talking about David Smith. Thank God when I looked it was just Bussell.

Have you seen it?

I've seen the first episode, yes. It's riotous. And just look at the cast.

Are these two gay?

Yes.

Who'd have thunk it?

Good so far.

Very funny.

The acting is a bit OTT imo. But maybe I get accustomed to it.

Half time results are in:

Good start
Nice dialogue
Sharp and witty
Nice set (reminds me of Rising Damp - but much cleaner obviously)
Only downside is the theme music and mis-matched credits that don't suit the rest.

I missed the first 2 minutes. How was the theme tune (if it has one)?

The Communards - Never Can Say Goodbye

I also killed a prostitute on Coronation Street!

Strange, they're going a bit for the nostalgic feeling, even evoke the Rising Damp atmosphere with the similar styled flat as Will pointed out...and yet chose that (relatively) modern song that doesn't really match.

Except that it's a song sung by a gay artist.

I would have taken a Woody Allen like jazz song or something. Or at least the Lou Reed song called "Vicious".
