Janet and Gaz plan their first night together as a couple. However, things don't go as smoothly as planned when Janet finds out that Gaz has asked his ex-girlfriend, "bald Shirley", to babysit Corinthian.

Gaz is annoyed that Jonny, although dead, is still haunting their relationship - his possessions are all around the flat, including his ear-wax candle and his concrete head. And Janet starts every sentence with "since Jonny died". It also doesn't help when Gaz admits he was sleeping with Donna and Janet at the same time.

They soon find their own unique way of resolving the argument and decide that, although they both miss Jonny, they have to move on if they are to make it as a couple.
