So Awkward. Mrs Fitzgerald (Carla Mendonca). Copyright: Channel X North

Martha's mother buys 3 tickets to an upcoming science talk to be given by famous, drop dead gorgeous science presenter, Dr Simon Nox.

Martha and her mum are going, but the question is, who gets the third, precious ticket? Lily and Jas compete to see who can suck up to Martha the most in order to prove they are the better friend and deserve the third ticket.

Meanwhile, Ollie's nose is put out of joint by the girls swooning over Dr Nox, and he decides to present his own rival 'Ollie Talks' lectures to prove he is just as good a presenter and just as charismatic. Unfortunately Ollie gets crippling stage fright and can't get his words out. Matt Furnish steps up to help him and in the process steals the show and becomes a superstar in the eyes of the whole school!

It turns out head teacher Mrs Griggs is also a Dr Nox fan. When she can't persuade Martha to give her a ticket she confiscates all three tickets. She doesn't have her hands on them for long, however, as she hides them in a book that is then returned to the library.

Desperate to get them back she makes a desperate dash to the library, hotly pursued by Martha's mother, also a Dr Nox fan, who has come to claim the tickets back and is willing to play dirty to get them back.

In the end the girls are happy to watch Dr Nox together on TV, rather than one of them not go... and the tickets are given to a surprising trio!
