Having finally moved in together, Alec and Zoë's relationship comes up against a major obstacle. There is new teacher at Zoë's school, an American, tall, handsome and more importantly young. Alec is not at all happy about the amount of time Zoë is spending with him. When an old flame of his arrives in Pinner, Alec decides to give Zoë a taste of her own medicine but it serves to make things worse when Zoë doesn't show any signs of jealousy.
