TV and web comedies up for Broadcast Digital Awards 2018
- Broadcast Digital Awards 2018 nominees include Chewing Gum, In The Long Run, Man Like Mobeen and This Country
- Tom Rosenthal, Bad Snappers and Pls Like are amongst the nominees in the new Short Form Comedy category
A number of British TV comedies have been nominated in the Broadcast Digital Awards 2018.
The awards, run by the industry's trade magazine, celebrate the best shows from channels still described as 'digital', as opposed to the 'mainstream' terrestrial channels.
This will be the first year that comedy has had its own category in the awards. Additionally, various web shows have been nominated in another new category as the organisers expand the number of prizes to match "the changing face of British broadcasting".
The comedy-related nominees are:

BBC Studios Quickies
Best Entertainment Programme
Celebs Go Dating
Just Tattoo Of Us

The results will be announced at a ceremony in London on Wednesday 4th July.
