So aside from them two issues- I'd like to pay tribute to Ryan Giggs as today marks the twentieth anniversery of his Manchester United debut- coming on as a substitute against Everton for Denis Irwin on 2nd March 1991. Absolutely amazing he's lasted this long and continues to be an important part of the team. The very epitome of professionalism.

I'd like to echo all of this and also pay tribute to Ryan Giggs. What a fantastic player. He is the epitome of professionalism and how to conduct yourself both on and off the pitch.
To be able to play at the top level for 20 years is truly amazing. He is that rare breed of player who is as respected by opposing fans as he is by his own.
The fact that the esteem he is held in transcends bitter rivalries and intense competitors is a true measure of the man.
A tip of the hat and a huge congratulations to the legend that is Giggsy.

I do actually respect him though it pains me to say it although I used to similarly respect Bobby Charlton - who incidentally got a standing ovation from the Chelsea Shed when he played his last First Division game in the capital - until I realised what a grumpy arrogant arse he was.

Not the best game I've ever seen. We'll still win the league though.
United were awful. Much the same as in the second half against Chelsea, but they should have finished off Chelsea in the first half on Wednesday.
They have a real problem killing teams off. Happy with their first-minute penalty against Liverpool in the cup, 1-0 against Crawley, they just sit back thinking they've done enough. It's bollocks. I, as a neutral, want to see teams going for it. I want either ace games where teams are flying at each other or total batterings of teams, regardless of who they are. Only then would it be 'the best entertainment product'.
