Why Maddy Magellan is a comedy icon

I'm an absolute sucker for murder mysteries, combine it with my other love comedy and I am in. Which is why you won't be surprised to learn that I was (and am) a massive Jonathan Creek fan. Like, one Christmas I got a Jonathan Creek book and... I was not mad. The reason for this fandom was Caroline Quentin's character Maddy Magellan.

Live Comedy Association vows to tackle harassment

A culture of 'abuse, misconduct, and harassment' blights every corner of the live comedy business, a new industry body has declared. The Live Comedy Association says there is 'systemic misconduct' across the circuit and is setting up a task force to tackle the issue. And as part of the drive it is drawing up to a code of conduct it will ask all members to adhere to.
