Review: No Pressure to be Funny

Panel shows, especially political ones, get a bit of a reputation for being a boys club, with everyone competing to be the loudest voice saying the most inflammatory thing, presumably to sell tickets to their tour. No Pressure To Be Funny is different. The clue's in the name.

TV review: Ross Noble: Freewheeling, Dave

There were definitely moments last night when we might rather have been watching "Great Pavements of Britain". But though he led us down several dead ends, Noble did eventually turn onto the road marked "quality television".

Reginald D Hunter, Fairfield Halls - comedy review

Earlier this year Reginald D Hunter became embroiled in a kerfuffle over using the N-word during a performance at the Professional Footballers' Association dinner. Pundits cried foul but the furore has pepped up Hunter's set. The controversy inspires the strong opening to his current show, which kicks the incident into a wider context.
