Series 3, Episode 1 - Manny Come Home

Fran returns from another holiday to find that Manny and Bernard are leading (almost) separate lives.

Further details

An excited Fran returns from holiday to share her new Cornish word. Unfortunately, in her absence, Bernard and Manny have had an 'incident', resulting in Manny being the newest member at Goliath Books, the new bookshop next door.

Bernard has discovered television and spiralled into a germ and disease-ridden descent once more. Meanwhile Manny is surrounded by state-of-the-art equipment, muffins and team leader, Evan, who appears to have cult tendencies. And a digital eye-scanner.

Fran tries her best to reconcile the pair, albeit for her own purposes; to no avail. Will Bernard ever get his human plaything back?
