Contrary to claims on other websites, Black Books was not a Big Talk production. All series were made by Assembly Film And Television, a division of Chrysalis, with the third and final series produced 'in association with' Big Talk. Big Talk Productions' founder, Nira Park, acted as a producer on all three series.
