TILT - topical Radio 7 comedy

OK, just to remind everyone: Tilt, the topical sketch show that will be accepting unsolicited material, starts tonight. It is on BBC7 at 11:30pm. You can listen to Radio 7 on the internet via this link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/bbc7.shtml

Once you've heard the style of the show it is then time to send off your sketches, tweaking them to match the style of the show first.

Here's a reminder of what they're looking for and where to send the sketches: https://www.comedy.co.uk/writers/write_for_tilt.shtml

And some more in-depth advice from Dave Cohen: https://www.comedy.co.uk/writers/writing_sketches.shtml

Dave is now offering a sketch consultation service specifically tailored to maximise your chances of getting something on this show. If you want to raise yourself above the flood of other submissions that are no doubt going to pour into Tilt I'd recommend it. Full details here: https://www.comedy.co.uk/writers/consultation_sketch.shtml

If you have any questions post them here, I'm sure Dave will answer them.

Good luck everyone!

p.s. Here are some previous threads discussing Tilt if you want to read into the back story: https://www.comedy.co.uk/forums/thread/5842 https://www.comedy.co.uk/forums/thread/5869 https://www.comedy.co.uk/forums/thread/6268

Just to update on my scriptreading service, where I offer to read six sketches. If you still want to send me six sketches that's fine, and after going through re-writes etc hopefully we can settle on the three strongest to send. Alternatively if you just want to send me three sketches for £20 then that'll be fine.

Clearly sootyj has been sending them his crayon drawings again!

Now that's just mean! My lines were better polished than a public school boys cock.

How did you find that out?

And a whole skit!

Which skit I'll listen out for it

Ha!

We can all try and guess which one it is.

Just about to start!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

9 minutes in. Not bad.

Liked the Tanya Offofeastenders one.

The baby news was annoying. The tv logos thing was quite good though.

The performers are bloody awful.

They're all right when they're not putting on extreme accents.

But I suppose it's hard to make each sketch sound different if they don't.

I liked the Eastenders one.

Loved the Michael Sheen will be playing both Morecambe and Wise bit. :)

This is kinda weird posting in real-time :D
