I was going to suggest a guessing game as to which 80s Radio One DJ Liz Kershaw was talking about but any of them could fit the bill really.
I think it can be said without the slightest benefit of hindsight that the Radio One DJs were a creepy bunch of weirdos. But apparently that was what the great British public wanted at the time.

And when they were replaced with some seemingly balanced characters like Danny Baker and Mark Radcliffe in the 90s, their ratings tanked and then hired a new generation of 'wacky zany' DJs like Chris Evans. Your average middle England punter had probably never seen or heard of Smashie and Nicie or even understand the joke.

A former nurse claims she saw Savile, a hospital volunteer, abuse a hospital patient who had undergone brain surgery, while a second patient claimed she had been fondled while she was recovering from back surgery aged 16.
The alleged offences are said to have been committed by Savile for decades - between the 1950s and the 1990s."

Having said all that, what exactly would the point of an investigation be?
Commit some resource to counselling those who he 'fixed it for' - but there's no point in cruxifying a corpse.

Well to expose others complicit and send a wake up call to those who think it is perfectly normal even back then I guess.
I suspect there are quite a few of Saville's surviving contemporaries are looking over their shoulder right now.
