No. Maybe next week.

Christ. What were they thinking??

Although we did get a bit of alien tech last night.

*Pulls party popper. It fails to go off as it's a bit damp.*

Ah yes, the broken spirograph pieces spread out on the floor.
Although I did like the sound nullification field.

I tried to endure it to begin with, but when Jack stood next to Angelo and the sentimental piano music started, I I had to walk out. Up until then, it seemed like RTD had handed over the writing duty to some 9 year-old who didn't know about "show don't tell"; it was all tedious exposition. I came back near the end when they were dynamically crouching on the floor repeatedly making the point that no-one could hear them.

You walked out of your own lounge in protest?

NOGGET Jr
Dad why are you on the patio?

NOGGET
I am protesting against sentimenatlity in Torchwood.
If the next episode doesn't improve I'm setting fire to the setee.

NOGGET Jr
Yay dad loot me a garden gnome!

Yes, I left the missus there watching it, and went off to have a really big dump. Looking at the resultant overlong shit I wondered for a moment if I was still actually watching Torchwood.

The nullification field. Did Jack just tweak it so it nullified sound as well as general nullification or just sound? Because if it was the former why isn't Rex dead?

Because Rex hasn't had Jack's DNA slobbered all over him, I think.

Just watching the last episode. And I didn't think Gwen could get more annoying... I was wrong.

Nice to see Q though.

The writers do seem to think shrill and fiesty are the same thing.

Torchwood has had the ultimate kiss of death.

A mediocre review from SFX.

They love everything scifi.

So when they go meh.. then you are f**ked.

Maybe they could team Torchwood up with Falling skies to make the most mediocre scifi show ever.

Blimey. That'd be like Doctor Who magazine giving a bad review to any episode from 2005 onwards.

Quite.

Shames there's been a really good story trying to break out all the way along.

Good episode tonight.

Gwen's still annoying though.
