'Tyger Drew-Honey' which means 'please bully me' in just about any language you can think of.

His dad is the porn star Ben Dover (real name Simon Lindsay Honey) and his mum is glamour model Lindzi Drew.

The family must be loaded with cash cos anyone growing up with a name like Tyger Drew-Honey in any remotely normal environment would have had seven shades kicked out of him every time he showed his face in the street or the school playground.

I'm a staunch oppponent of bullying but some people are just taking the piss.

Spelling 'Tyger' with a 'y'? That's worth a good smack on its own.

Michael McIntyre's speech was hilarious!

Although I didn't get it when someone said that there was hostility towards him. :S

And Jack Dee and Rob Brydon were VERY funny.

And putting Katie Price on was brilliant because she is the subject of many comedians' jokes. :D

Was it? Pity he accidentally left it in his other jacket then. :(

I think what John Thompson said was that people are annoyed that he has become so successful so quickly and easily, and thus are envious of him.

Quick question - has HIGNFY ever not been nominated in the years since it first aired?

It was Armando Iannucci (or Lannucci :D) that mentioned the slight hostility towards McIntyre, which was funny because it was true. There were quite a few digs towards McIntyre throughout the night.

Yeah, unnecessary, I thought. Just say thanks, make a joke about wearing a silly tie and get off.

Who are you referring to?

I was saying people knocking McIntyre was unnecessary, Martin. Michael M looked a bit miffed when Armando had a little dig, felt a bit sorry for him.

I don't think Armando was making a dig, just making a funny observation that there was an awkward hostility towards McIntyre in the room - which there was.

Mr McIntyre was very good-humoured and genuinely admirable in his acceptance speech. (It was too much to hope that Stewart Lee would get it.)

Saw Lee tonight, he mentioned they'd already told him who had won, then called McIntyre a very rude word indeed. :D

Yeah, McIntyre and the new trophy design seemed to be getting the brunt of it!

He loves that word at the minute.

JR's monologue was very tame stuff. I was waiting for the one gag that would be both very funny and incredibly cutting. It never came. Perhaps we just don't have as many interesting off-screen comedians and comic actors around to make jokes about, compared with 20 years ago. Comedians have become a bit too professional and polished to even get drunk before the ceremony and let fly a bit? :(

I think Frankie Boyle was the only person on stage to be cutting.
