Dr Suzy De'Ath is an emotionless resolute professional who kills people for a living. Running Britain's first legal euthanasia centre this makes her one of the good guys. Today's valued customer is Alan Groskop, once a world famous biologist. Suzy has instructed her beyond-tragic hipster nurse Zam Rox to get the job done quickly so she can help another patient. But Alan has a last request that presents a major moral quandary when resident pastoral support worker (and close personal friend of our Lord in heaven) Rev Martha Singleton gets involved.

Kate Smurthwaite
Kate Smurthwaite is a comedian, journalist, writer and campaigner. In 2013 she won a Three Week's Editor's Choice Award naming her one of the ten best things about the Edinburgh Festival. She writes for BBC3's BAFTA-winning The Revolution Will Be Televised and Have I Got News For You. She has appeared on over 800 TV and radio discussion and debate shows including Question Time, This Morning, The Big Questions, Moral Maze and Woman's Hour and has written columns for Cosmopolitan, The Guardian, The Independent, The Telegraph and New Internationalist.
