It's Christmas Eve but all is not well. A hapless team of criminals are planning to nick the takings: can Gavin save the day?
Further details
It's Christmas Eve at Valco and Gavin has set his sights on smashing the record for the highest-ever Valco takings. Despite Margaret massively misjudging the meaning of 'secret Santa', the tills are ringing and the staff are gearing themselves up for a major blow-out at the Christmas party. Gavin has even found a kindred spirit in new star employee Tim. Best Valco Christmas Eve ever.
But as the festive fun kicks off in the canteen, all is not well. A hapless team of criminals have got into the store and are planning to nick the takings. When their plan goes wrong, they round up all the staff and hold them in the canteen. Well, not all the staff. Unknown to them, Gavin is still on the loose. Can he save the day?

There are larks aplenty down in the Valco aisles as Sky's passable ensemble comedy opens its store for Christmas Eve. John Thomson slips straight into the role of star employee Tim, as store manager Gavin (Jason Watkins at his busybody best) is hoping to break the record for the shop's highest takings. What could possibly go wrong? Cue robbers holding the staff hostage, with their fate in the hand of have-a-go hero Gavin. Knockabout fun.
