Further details
Gerald's day gets off to a bad start. Living with his daughter, Susan, and her new partner, Victoria, is taking its toll on Gerald...
Victoria turns out to be a bathroom hogger and Gerald is therefore forced to make use of the facilities at work, which have the push-button taps that he hates.
During a staff meeting that identifies a rogue speed bump on the streets of Baselricky, Gerald's colleague, Malika, announces her upcoming birthday by inviting gifts from the team with hints as subtle as a sledgehammer.
Back home, Susan tries to encourage her dad to move on by getting back on the dating scene, while Victoria works on some new material to forge ahead with her DJ career.
Encouraged by Susan, Gerald goes about getting Malika a birthday present, but an unfortunate mix up results in his intended romantic gesture landing him in very hot water.
