Nixon's The One. Image shows from L to R: Oral Roberts (John Guerrasio), President Richard Nixon (Harry Shearer). Copyright: Hat Trick Productions

President Nixon meets TV evangelist Oral Roberts for tea in his Oval Office.

Nixon voices apparently negative opinions of Jews as he talks to his chief of staff HR 'Bob' Haldeman about problems with his aides and the state of American society. Jews are "disloyal", he tells Haldeman, with Henry Kissinger being one of the only exceptions.

In part two, Nixon gets a visit from fasttalking and animated televangelist and Christian charismatic Roberts in 1972. In a sketch replete with Nixon's nervous laughter and uncomfortable side-glances, Roberts audaciously encroaches further and further into the president's personal space while also offering his advice as to how he should address the nation on television.
