Further details

Zoë is suffering from postnatal depression and Alec has to take the brunt of it. Despite his best efforts he can't seem to do anything right in Zoë's eyes and his patience is starting to wear thin. Meanwhile at work he is trying to secure a new contract with a building society whilst Hilary is entering every competition she can lay her hands on.

Alec decides to deal with his problem once and for all. He pretends to Zoë that they are meeting a new client and his wife for dinner but instead Alec whisks her off to a country hotel for a romantic weekend together. Zoë is delighted although Jamie isn't as he is forced to take Alec's place at the dinner with the new client - the most boring man in Pinner! Things take a rather nasty turn however when Hilary and Derek turn up at Alec and Zoë's hotel. Hilary has managed to win one of her competitions a whole weekend in the same hotel!
