Despite Fleur being only a few months old, Alec decides to put her name down for a private school. Zoë is not at all happy about Alec going behind her back and for disregarding her principles.
Miss Flood meanwhile tries to play matchmaker with Hillary and Derek and almost ends up separating them for good. The school rejects Fleur and Zoë is furious that they've implied that Fleur isn't good enough. Alec decides he will never truly understand women.
