An outing to the pet shop leads to conflict between the boys - Brooks wants a dog and Rocco wants a hamster. All they can agree on is that, whether dog or hamster, their pet should talk.

Budge, Brooks's stuffed toy with a secret life and an insatiable appetite for biscuits, sneaks along to make sure they don't get a pet at all - he doesn't need a rival for the household's biscuits!
