Write several scripts, get advice from other writers whom you trust, rewrite those scripts many times, and send the best one out to the industry. Don't be precious about your first script or scripts. New writers tend to attach a lot of importance to these. But I think you have to put those early scripts down to experience. Learn from what you didn't get right, and make the next one better.
