Pierre Novellie has landed his debut Radio 4 series, with Why In The Name Of Pierre Novellie a stand-up homage to the station's big ideas show In Our Time.
Dead Ringers to return with Jon Holmes as producer

Topical impression show Dead Ringers is to return to Radio 4 in June. Following the death of creator Bill Dare, the BBC have now appointed The Skewer and The Naked Week's Jon Holmes as producer.
The Skewer wins gold at Radio Academy Awards 2025

Radio 4's topical format The Skewer won the gold award in the comedy category at The Radio Academy ARIAS. Green Wing: Resuscitated was runner-up, with Help I Sexted My Boss taking bronze.

The Museum Of Curiosity has been cancelled by Radio 4, with creator John Lloyd revealing that "the BBC in its wisdom decided that it needs to be retired. I think it's sad, it's a mistake, because it's a good show."

Bravo Two Charlies PI spin-off coming to BBC Radio Wales

Police sitcom Bravo Two Charlies is getting a spin-off on BBC Radio Wales, with former North Wales traffic cops Dennis Babb and Lee Cushion, played by Martin Trenaman and Rhys Ap Trefor, setting up as private investigators in a new show, with the working title The Abergele Files.
Kenneth Williams reading the Bible to be broadcast on Radio 4

At the height of his fame in the 1970s, Kenneth Williams was asked to record excerpts from the Bible. Those recordings are to be broadcast for the first time on Radio 4 this April.
