Biography

Luke Rollason is a physical comedian and writer.

His live shows have performed critically-acclaimed sell-out runs at the SOHO Theatre and the Edinburgh Fringe.

He is a member of physical comedy trio Privates. Their work won the 2019 Otherplace Award, and was nominated for Best Kids Comedy Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival 2020.

Luke is half of funk-comedy duo Stepdads. In 2019, Stepdads came 2nd Place in both the Sketch Off and the Musical Comedy Award competitions. In 2020, Stepdads were finalists at Sketch Off.

As a writer, Luke has written comedy for BBC Radio 4 Extra. His short films have been shortlisted for the BCG Pro Talent Production Awards, and the Comedy Crowd's BFI TV Showcase. His work has been screened internationally at film festivals, and on Channel 4's Random Acts. He has also written comedy and narrative content for Runtastic's Run Wild Campaign, and the videogame Unseen Empire for National Geographic. He is a nominee for the 2020 Sitcom Mission awards for scriptwriting.

Luke has been a resident artist at ONCA, Theatre Deli, the Balkan Retreat and Battersea Arts Centre. He trained at L'Ecole Philippe Gaulier.
