One of Off The Kerb's newest and brightest signings Irishman Andrew Ryan returns to the festival this year ready to take over the world with his new show 'Perfectly Inadequate' that has already been nominated for 'Best New Show' at this year's Leicester Comedy Festival.

Andrew's quintessentially Irish storytelling abilities and cheeky, friendly demeanour make him a natural observational stand up. He performed his debut hour show Ryanopoly at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2012, receiving rave reviews and following it up with last year's Life of Ryan.

Everybody has there own perception about what they think perfection is! In his new show, Perfectly Inadequate, Andrew Ryan explores what the people around him expect of him - family, friends, relationship and work. Commitment is an issue, he has failed to hold down a functional relationship since his early 20's, and he has had sixteen jobs since he left school that makes him brilliant at interviews but unable to hold down anything-long term. He has always tried his best to please everyone and struggles to admit that this is making him miserable! It's caused problems in the way he tackles everyday life and his relationships with other people. However, he is finally come to realise that not being perfect is fine and that is actually the key to his happiness!

Andrew Ryan made his comedy circuit debut in 2008 when he spontaneously entered an open mic contest and now in 2015 is one of the most exciting and in demand talents in the country.

He has performed stand-up on BBC Three's Russell Howard's Good News, Live at the Edinburgh Festival, Comedy Central Live at The Comedy Store & Alex Zane's Funny Rotten Scoundrels.
