Things that piss you off Page 1,700

On the plus side though, you have thousands of photos and videos documenting your teenage years. I don't think I had a phone with a camera until I was about 20 (or older?) so I have hardly any photos of being a teenager. :(

In my case, I think it's best I don't!

:P

Snap. I have very few but I treasure the ones I have. At least you don't have to worry about your 15 year old self's naked pictures being on the internet forever like a lot of pressured/daft teenagers nowadays.

Crikey - of course that's another issue. And I have been badgered many times by boyfriends with Polaroid cameras and even video cameras, but answer has always been the same . . . NO! Never! And that was before 1991 when the internet became a potential thing!

So I don't quite get why kids do stills or 'sex tapes' now with such a high risk - perhaps because that's a way of getting famous? I was shocked to see what Kim Kardashian had done as I was guilty of not knowing who she really was - until I found her on a porn site. And is that what teens aspire to now as she has money?

I am no prude, but I did have some pride, and would still never sell it for fame or dosh.

:O

Oh that's a pity because on our second trip in 1967 somebody broke the radio aerial on my Cortina as it was parked outside where we were staying and I was hoping you might have known who done it.

Never mind, perhaps you can put some feelers out for me and see if anyone can help bring the culprit to justice?

It wisnae me! I only started learning in December '67.

I don't think any teens put their own nude pics/videos online. I assume they just do it for their boyfriend/girlfriend and just never think they'll get out.

I want to think they are not that stupid, but why did I never allow it before?

:(

Maybe it doesn't seem so much of a big deal when you can do it on your phone and click one button to send. I dunno!

Not all teens are obsessed by taking selfies but do agree, some are, just as some of the old enough to know betters are.
What I can't stand is being at a concert and people videoing and snapping away the whole time, just watch the bloody thing already.

Yes!

Baristas who think having a "personality" makes up for a s**t cup of coffee.

The word 'Baristas' - someone who basically works a kettle

I don't think you should dignify them by calling them Baristas, They're f**king waiters!

Speaking of tasty beverages . . . red wine gives you cancer now. How irritating, as they'll be telling you spinach does next.

Most italians drink red wine every day and their risk of cancer as a nation is lower than ours.

I wish someone would just say it's a simple lack of common sense that increases your chances of developing cancer, and italians probably cancel out their related risk with their diet.

. . . so I'd like to post some good news. I learned just last month that simple builder's tea contains adequate antioxidants that actually 'help prevent cell damage', whereas from what I read before, I thought we virtually annihilated any health promoting properties (unlike other countries) by sticking milk in it. Hurrah, as I drink gallons of the stuff.

So enough of this scaremongering already. I may be a scot but never touch junk food and will continue to drink red wine because my wonderful late Father drank it every day just like an italian and was 86 when something else took him.

I think baristas are pretty well trained personally! At least on a par with cocktail waiters. They know how to make a hundred different drinks. It's certainly not as simple as switching on a kettle.

On another subject, I got no bloody snow. As usual. *sulks*

Spoken like a barista? Not sure about 100?

Jokes apart - anyone who puts in the effort to do their job well has my respect and admiration - from Baristas to Presidents

Ha, I am not a barista. I wouldn't have a clue what to do faced with one of those machines.

So, as a treat thought I would buy a box of Cornettos with my Tesco shopping delivery and on opening the box I thought "Shit! They've sent the wrong ones - these are mini Cornettos".
Then I realised that no, there is no such thing as a mini Cornetto.....................THIS is yet another con the manufacturers are perpetrating on the buying public by short changing them with smaller products and think we will not notice. WRONG!! You scumbag con merchants.

OK, I haven't bought a Cornetto for some time but they could try and be a bit more subtle with the reduction in size. These current treats must be nearly half the size of when they first came out. Angry

It's the Mars bar all over again! Listen people!! When I was a kid, a Mars bar was almost a meal in itself..................now it's little more than something you might find in a chocolate box selection.
