Do you GROW? Page 8

Courgettes, Radish, runner beans.

My Tomatoes haven't really got going yet either.

This thread's like a middle-class-ometer. The more middle class you are, the more stuff you grow.

Growing Cheyenne Chilis, since planting them I have considered reading the daily mail...

Is the Daily Mail middle class?

Is the Daily Mail middle class?

I would say so, yes. It certainly aspires to be.

I don't really know much about newspapers. I thought the Daily Mail was just another Sun.

I love growing that, I love having things you can eat straight from the plant. Need to plant some more this year, hopefully not too late.

Well mine took a year, so it's a bit late for this year.

Can anyone recommend anything else I can still plant now and hopefully eat in the summer? I have currently have herbs, toms, carrots and sweetcorn on the go.

Salad leaves are quick, stick some lettuce and rocket in some pots, you'll be eating them in a few weeks.

I've seen loads of working class gardens packed to the gills with veg.

Marijuana plants don't count.

In my experience, green peppers and bush beans can grow anywhere, anytime.

I wonder how peppers do over here. It's been really cold for the time of year.

And a bunch of herbs and stuff.

I am a gardener!
Woo!

I have one of those, it's pretty empty. :D

Make sure you tether it down somehow or it could blow around the garden on a windy day, as mine did.

Heh, yes. We've already discovered that.

Am going out for string tomorrow...

It's in the living room by the patio doors right now. Maybe it'll just end up staying there.

Awesome! Herbs are piss easy to grow.
