You are forgiven! That's fair enough.

Phew. :)

Surrey

Laughing out loud

Were very very good just a decade or so ago. England were swamped by Surrey players in the 90s. Now there's none!

I started out hating the idea, especially when it looked like taking over all other forms in popularity. But now I think it's a good idea, it's good fun to watch, it takes not much longer than a football match, it's providing a lot of useful money to the counties and it is being touted as the way to get USA, Russia and even Germany playing world cricket now.

How did the Aussies win that?

Dunno!! Bloody impressive, and an enjoyable game.

We're allowed a little laugh. Especially as a Derbyshire fan.

And because John Major almost ran me over when I went to test match at the Oval once.

Just hope it doesn't rain on Sunday.

Was he driving in Stockwell at the time..? :P This is a pre-book comment, obviously. Consider it a plug.

No, Derbyshire fans are perfectly entitled to laugh at us. It's just embarrassing at the moment. Happily, our decline commenced when I became a member. We've won two proper cricket games in the three seasons I've been a member.

The finish of Pakistan-Australia almost makes me like T20. :)

I saw the score with a few overs to go & just assumed Pakistan had won.

England need 15 runs from 26 balls.
Can they throw it away now?

EDIT
Well done England!

Yeah!

Teary England :)

Worries me our bowlers are finding it such hard work at Lords when it is overcast and the opposition have only ever won one test match.

What might happen in Perth?

England beat Scotland.

At least England win at some sports. ( And Rugby today)

I can't find the consolidationalised rugby thread.
