James Gardner calls on Glasgow Comedy Festival to support disabled performers

James Gardner called on fellow comics and organisers to "engage directly with disabled people" to improve accessibility as the city hosts the Glasgow International Comedy Festival. His brother Alexander has quadriplegic cerebral palsy and is non-verbal - and accessibility issues have often left him unable to attend comedy shows, including some of James' shows.

Ofcom to probe Josh Howie's GB News joke

Ofcom has launched an official inquiry into a joke comedian Josh Howie made on GB News that appeared to link the LGBT community with paedophiles. The broadcasting watchdog received 1,382 direct complaints, while an online petition run by the Good Law Project and submitted to the regulator attracted 71,851 more.
