Did you know the average response time for a Met Police Helicopter is 15 minutes? Ups & Downs is a 15-minute sitcom based in an EC145 police chopper, containing a principled but very ambitious young policewoman, Erin Salter; her second-in-command, and professional slacker, Rupert, and their IQ-adverse ex-military pilot Brian. Every mission sees Erin desperate to fight crime on the city streets (and disagreements in the cockpit) so she can rise up the squad performance chart and get ever-closer to paying off her criminally-exorbitant mortgage on her new two-bed in Catford.

Nick Flügge is an award-winning short-film maker and comedy writer. He's a founder member of comedy collective Mr Tibbs and has written for Newsjack, World's Craziest Fools and So Wrong It's Right. His short The Hook was acquired for global distribution by Shorts.TV and is currently available to millions around the world. He also sells his soul regularly as a freelance creative for several of London's top advertising agencies.
