Joanne Lau & Mat Rees
Joanne Lau is a scientist, writer and award-winning comedian who has appeared in and written for shows on BBC Three, and UK comedy website The Poke. She has been shortlisted for the Funny Women Comedy Writing Awards and is currently writing for upcoming online magazine Standard Issue.
Mat Rees was longlisted for the BAFTA Rocliffe new writing awards, wrote and directed The Gap pilot starring Rich Fulcher and Adeel Akhtar, and is an award winning editor for work in the fields of advertising and television.
They describe their partnership as: 45% Arguing over which of them is Batman/Robin, 45% Arguing over which of them is Sherlock/Watson, 5% being down the pub, and 5% writing.
