Just got the Faces box set. There's loads of extra tracks on the individual albums as well as the 5th disc.

Very difficult question, one of the acts that impressed me most in concert were Pearl Jam...coincidentally the opposite of hairmetal posing.
Rory Gallagher at the Rainbow 1970 something. Everyone was rocking in the aisles.

Ludicrous.
Not that I ever went gigging at either of them. I was a late developer vis a vis live.
The Pogues, Town and Country Club - 14, 15, 17 March 1988. I couldn't get a ticket for the 16 March which is just as well as I wouldn't have survived the week. They were totally pissed and sounded much better at other times. The video makes them sound even rougher than they did sound. But that atmosphere was incredible. Totally electric. It was the week when I realised that hooligans were a lot nicer than most professional people.
(nb All the problems occurred when the professional people became the hooligans - that of course occurred around the time of D-Ream - there was a sort of colonialism of GPs and lawyers, things were never the same)
Saturday night at 7pm on True Entertainment (channel 61) "Meatloaf - to Hell and back." Drama about Meat starring the big man himself.

I fear that you're right. I try to keep up with local shows, but I had no idea they were supposed to play here this week. I have only seen powerful Motörhead shows, so I'd hate to see Lemmy in such a bad state.

Yello the best thing to come out of Switzerland. Got a New Mix on CD after a mate of mine gave me a tape of it years ago. Fantastic compilation - love the music, the feel, the humour.
