Further details

The Old Guys step six months back in time, to the day they thought they had all been waiting for, Tom receiving the good news that his application for a flat has not only been accepted but processed by the housing association. He can move into his own place right away.

To celebrate, Tom invites everyone for a slap up house warming. There's just one small problem, the fire alarm has a mind of its own, one that Tom isn't going to be beaten by and one that all of the guests suffer for.
The excitement of having his own place soon begins to wear off and the thought of Roy having his place all to himself is proving to be quite lonely too. Amber's partner Steve on the other hand is in high demand as they both make a bid for him to keep them company now they are in need of some company.

Rajan's Deli is open for business and Rajan (the owner) is keen to impress his customers, a tactic that doesn't go down so well with suspicious Tom.

Meanwhile Sally, takes her last casting call rejection as a sign to put all her energy into painting. She wastes no time in starting with a portrait of Tom and delivers it as a house warming gift to brighten up his new pad.

A delighted Tom feigns his happiness and a promise to hang it in pride of place. Sally, bolstered by Tom's delight at his portrait, decides to embrace the art, presenting Roy with his own unique portrait and begins a sitting with Amber which leads both to the conversation of just how unhappy Tom and Roy are now they are apart.

They take it upon themselves to make a plan to get them talking. It's not long before Sally discovers that her portraits aren't the classic works of art she'd anticipated and Roy finally admits that actually he quite misses having Tom around.
