Tom discovers that he would qualify for a lump sum from his pension if only he was married. Meanwhile, Amber is keen to impress her new boss, Marianne.

Amber is keen to impress her new boss, Marianne. She is a keen cyclist but, unfortunately, Amber can't cycle because her Dad, Tom, never taught her. Roy takes on the mantle of surrogate father and, much to Tom's annoyance, teaches Amber to cycle, meaning she can now befriend Marianne, if only she can get the hang of turning corners.

Meanwhile, Tom discovers that he would qualify for a lump sum from his pension ... if he was married. When a trawl through the women from his past draws a blank, Tom decides to offer Sally money in exchange for her hand in marriage. If Sally turns him down there will only be one unthinkable option left...
